The classical era marks as an era for other civilizations that had their own awakening in the enlightenment era. China has a massive a powerful civilization. With many other civilizations next to China, made it easy for other civilization to follow in China's footsteps. Later on, China's soaring economy and technological advances had many affects through out the world. Their widespread economical and technological innovations were able to spread and change the world as we know it.

We all know with the fall of the Roman Empire, it all went to nothing. Shit hit the fan basically. China regained it's common power through the Sui Dynasty. Under control of the Sui Dynasty, a system of canals were build (1,200 miles in length). In the text, " An emerging feat without parallel in the world of its time." Therefore the infrastructure of the canals were way ahead of it's time. The Sui Dynasty set up a structural path for future Dynasty's to lead by.

Two main Dynasty's followed the rations of the Sui Dynasty, (Tang and Song Dynasty). Both of them established pattens of Chines culture, even through the twentieth century. Through their time in ruling, six major ministries were taken place (personnel, finance, rites, army, justice and public works). This order was in affect because it was surveillance by the government. It basically checked the character and competence of public officials.
